the afroindigenous artist, curator, writer & ‘occasional’ photographer MONIQUE D. primarily sources her inspiration from the places that have cultivated her; her trailblazing ancestral lands spanning the global south—notably the lands of abundance & high mountains and, apart from that, the melting pot of a city that seemingly never sleeps.
currently completing an associates in the arts & humanities in her motherland, M.D. spends her time enjoying the outdoors, ideating & nourishing her mind, and making art that imitates life & the unknown (all while also documenting her telenovela of a life).
